Vectary: Shaping the identity and digital presence of a interactive 3D design platform

Vectary is an advanced 3D design and collaboration platform used by creators and teams across the world. During my five years at Vectary (2019—2024), I helped shape the company’s visual identity, helped redesign the website twice, and built modular design systems that supported both the product and marketing teams.

Alongside these large-scale initiatives, I designed hundreds of interactive
3D scenes from scratch starting with 3D models, marketing visuals and interactive demos that showcased real-world use cases for the platform.
My work contributed to elevating Vectary’s brand coherence, improving communication, and expanding how customers understood and interacted with the product.

In 2018, while working on Vectary, integrating 3D into the brand felt like a natural evolution. I explored translating the letter “V” into a distinctive 3D form and drew color inspiration from our in-house MatCap shader, resulting in a purple–peach palette that reflected Vectary’s direction at the time.

I also created an updated flat logo to address issues in the previous version and provide a short-term solution. While clearer and more refined, it didn’t fully capture the long-term vision. This led to experimenting with modular shapes that formed the “V” and established a flexible visual language for the broader brand system.

"A significant part of my role at Vectary was creating content used both for marketing and as direct support for the sales team. This included visuals for Google Display ads, web banners, tutorials, and a wide range of video content for social media and product communication."

"For the release of Vectary Studio 3.0, we built an entirely new website in Webflow alongside a dedicated 3D visual design system."

As the platform continued to grow and mature, Vectary became increasingly robust, which required supporting a rapidly expanding number of web pages. Since the previous design system relied heavily on time-intensive 3D content, it became clear that a new approach was needed. I helped design a new system that combined 3D renders with 2D elements from the studio, as well as photography, with the goal of humanizing the brand and making the system more scalable. The result was a flexible and easily maintainable solution that, in an evolved form, is still in use on the official Vectary website today.
